The Rotary Club of Altona City proudly celebrated the dedication and achievements of local educators at the 9th annual Hobsons Bay Excellence in Education Awards. These awards celebrated three categories:
- Encouragement Awards: recognising early career stage teachers.
- Achievement Awards: recognising those with more experience.
- Team Awards: recognising outstanding collaboration among teachers or education support staff.
Following an inspiring keynote address by Rotary Peace Fellow, Dr Elaine Pratley, the 23 nominees from Altona P-12 College, Bayside P-12 College and Williamstown High School were presented with their Awards by Past District Governor, Dr Murray Verso.
